How is BERG delivered and is it easy to assemble?

What is your returns policy?
If the product is faulty, BERG will accept the product for return. 30 days guarantee money back, 24 months warranty on any defect parts, 36months crash replacement.
Can I get another frame as backup?
Yes, just let us know, we'd be happy to sell you a backup frame.
What about spare parts? Can any bike shop assist me?
BERG uses standard off-the-shelf bike components. So any bike shop can assist you.
Where can I get my BERG serviced?
Since the BERG bicycle is designed to be compatible with standard components, you can service it at regular bike shops.
Can I test ride a BERG component?
Yes we offer a possibility to ride a set of BERG wheels via our local dealers. Please contact them for an appointment.
Why is it called the BERG?
We originally called it Red Mountain, but it was so much better to just call it Mountain in the Dutch language.
Where is BERG manufactured?
Design, Engineering, logistics is in Belgium.
Assembly and maintenance is in Belgium.
Cardboard and packaging is in Belgium.
Raw carbon frames are polished, perfected and painted in Belgium.
Textile (cycle shirts/ regular t-shirts) are products originated from Germany/Belgium.
Carbon Production is China and Slovenia.
Aluminum products are originated from Taiwan.
Rubber products are originated from Indonesia.
Testing of the carbon parts is in Germany.
Will the production bikes be exactly like the ones pictured?
Yes, color can vary a little bit due to computer screen settings
Are you planning to offer upgrades?
Yes. BERG evolves continuously, unlike regular companies who produce the same materials, we upgrade as much as possible.
What frame size should I order?
Like traditional bikes, BERG does come in standard sizes. Please check the size that fits your height.
How do I customize my BERG parts?
Frames are offered in two color tones, wheels and hubs can be customized using decals above the painted logo's.
Can I put my BERG frame on a car rack?
Yes.
Are the wheels easily removable for transportation?
Yes.
Can I upgrade single components?
Yes, after you get your components, you can modify it to your wishes. Ceramic bearings or decals are optional.
Is the bike water resistant?
Yes, same as any other bike.
How do you even make a carbon fiber frame?
We use a mold were the carbon is fitted.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
BERG is protected by a two year warranty. If anything should fail outside normal wear and tear or rider damage, we will send you replacement parts.
What kind of accessories do you currently have or can expect in the near future?
A whole bunch of them - these will be announced throughout the campaign as we receive feedback from our buyers. Tell us what you want!
Can I use the BERG components on all terrains?
No, only Road and Cross-country MTB is allowed astm level 1 and 2 ISO tested maximum load 100kg
What kind of carbon fiber composite is the bike made of?
Industrial grade carbon fiber called Mitsubishi or Torayca.
How often should I have my bike serviced?
BERG parts should be serviced liked any other bike. We recommend an annual tune-up at your local bike shop to keep your bike in top working order.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
